The Town of Camp Verde is planning the future of its Parks and Recreation system over the next 10 years. Your participation is critical to the success of the Parks, Recreation, Trails, and Open Space Master Plan.
Attend an in-person project workshop to learn more about the project and provide input.
The purpose of the Parks, Recreation, Trails, and Open Space Master Plan is to offer strategies that provide guidance in order to meet the needs of current and future residents and provide fun, safe and affordable recreational programs and event opportunities to promote healthy lifestyles for all in our community.
The Town of Camp Verde Parks and Recreation Division is dedicated to providing quality recreational, educational, cultural, fitness, social and environmental opportunities that meet the diverse needs of our community. To advance this mission, the plan will be organized around the following goals:
A long-range plan that identifies key initiatives and implementation strategies to guide the Town Parks and Recreation Division projects and services over the next 10+ years.
The Master Plan public input process will take place from July 2025 until Spring 2026. Feedback, outreach events, and multiple opportunities for involvement to help shape the town’s parks and recreation system will occur throughout 2025 and early 2026. Final adoption of the master plan is anticipated in late 2026. Once adopted, the master plan will guide long-range parks and recreation planning, providing goals and recommendations that may be implemented in the next 10+ years.
By engaging the public through a master planning process, the Town will ensure future parks and recreation priorities, goals, and projects are citizen-driven, identify unmet needs, and fulfill the community’s evolving demands for the next 10+ years related to parks and recreation services, amenities, and open spaces.
